Acrylic paints 30 ml — portion jars for paint-by-numbers

Acrylic paints in 30 ml jars are the most convenient format for paint-by-numbers, miniatures, test works, and learning. Each color is in a separate airtight jar with a screw cap: open, take the required amount, close, and put away until next time. The paint doesn't dry out, doesn't mix with other shades, and takes up little space.

Why 30 ml jars are convenient

Unlike a tube from which you need to squeeze paint onto a palette, you can dip your brush directly into a 30 ml jar and rinse with water between colors. This greatly speeds up the work: there's no need to separately prepare a palette, measure quantities, or clean it after each work. 30 ml is enough for an area of 300–500 cm² of dense layer — that is, one 30 ml jar is quite enough for a large color zone in a medium paint-by-numbers picture.

The paint is the same as in tubes — water-based acrylic, odorless, goes on in a dense layer, becomes water-resistant after drying. After finishing the work, the remains can be used for the next pictures — just add 1–2 drops of water to restore working consistency.

When to choose 30 ml

This volume is optimal if: you're painting a paint-by-numbers picture and want to buy more of the exact shade that ran out; you're painting miniatures or model figures — large volume isn't needed there; you're learning to work with acrylic and getting several shades to try; you're building your own palette for a specific creative project.
