About this section
Night subjects: full moons, starlit skies over water, silhouettes of trees and cities in the dark, the northern lights.
The dark ground covers most of the canvas and needs an even coat — laid thin, the printed guide shows through and kills the depth. The moon and the aurora are gradients, best left until the background has dried. The section is almost entirely tall canvases, 40x60 through 80x120. The section currently holds 68 designs.
Sizes, difficulty and palette
Canvas formats here run from 40x50 to 80x120 cm — 11 sizes in total. The most common one is 50x70 cm: 10 designs.
Difficulty runs from level 2 to level 5, and level 3 covers 84% of the designs. Palettes range from 11 to 23 colours.
What comes in the box
Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
