About this section
Animation across studios and decades: Disney and Disneyland, DreamWorks, American sitcoms, SpongeBob and Tom and Jerry, Winx, Looney Tunes, the Moomins. Disneyland is the largest set.
This is the most forgiving theme in the catalogue to paint: firm outlines, flat fills, almost no half-tones. A canvas here is realistically an evening or two of work, and it suits painting together with a child — the areas are large and hard to get wrong. The section currently holds 889 designs.
Sizes, difficulty and palette
Canvas formats here run from 40x40 to 80x120 cm — 12 sizes in total. The most common one is 50x70 cm: 65 designs.
Difficulty runs from level 1 to level 5, and level 3 covers 93% of the designs. Palettes range from 6 to 24 colours.
What comes in the box
Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
