About this section
Pirate ships: galleons under the black flag, boarding actions, coves and islands, stormy seas.
The palette range here is extremely tight — 17 to 18 colours: dark timber, sail and sea give a limited set of tones. Difficulty is level three across the section, low for a marine theme: the ship is shown large with a firm silhouette. The section currently holds 40 designs.
Sizes, difficulty and palette
Canvas formats here run from 40x60 to 80x120 cm — 5 sizes in total. The most common one is 70x110 cm: 8 designs.
Every design here is level 3 on the five-point scale. Palettes range from 17 to 18 colours.
What comes in the box
Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
