Trains: steam engines under smoke, high-speed services, carriages and stations, railways in landscape.
A third of the section runs at level five — not for the machinery but for the surroundings: smoke, steam, mist, sunset sky above the track. Designs with a train against a plain background are noticeably easier. The section is almost entirely tall canvases from 50x70 to 80x120, since a train is a long composition. The section currently holds 261 designs.
Sizes, difficulty and palette
Canvas formats here run from 40x40 to 80x120 cm — 12 sizes in total. The most common one is 60x90 cm: 33 designs.
Difficulty runs from level 3 to level 5, and level 3 covers 64% of the designs. Palettes range from 8 to 24 colours.
What comes in the box
Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
