Asia: Chinese and Korean motifs, temples, rice terraces, street food, lanterns and calligraphy.
The Asian visual tradition is built on flat colour and outline, so these subjects map onto a numbered chart naturally. Tall formats, 70x110 and 80x120, are popular here, being close to scroll proportions. The section currently holds 146 designs.
Sizes, difficulty and palette
Canvas formats here run from 40x50 to 80x120 cm — 9 sizes in total. The most common one is 70x110 cm: 19 designs.
Every design here is level 3 on the five-point scale. Palettes range from 20 to 24 colours.
What comes in the box
Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
