Russia: northern nature, wooden churches, Saint Petersburg and Moscow, winter villages, fields and birches.
Winter subjects are the most comfortable here: snow gives large light masses where a shade slightly off barely registers. Architectural views are harder. Squares — 40x40, 70x70, 80x80 — turn up more often than in other country sets, suiting domes and object compositions. The section currently holds 187 designs.
Sizes, difficulty and palette
Canvas formats here run from 40x40 to 80x120 cm — 12 sizes in total. The most common one is 80x120 cm: 26 designs.
Difficulty runs from level 3 to level 5, and level 3 covers 95% of the designs. Palettes range from 10 to 24 colours.
What comes in the box
Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
