About this section
Holland: tulip fields, flower farms, canals and bridges, windmills, bicycles by the water.
One design in three here runs at level two, noticeably more than in other country themes. The tulip fields are why: bands of pure colour with no fine detail, large areas with firm boundaries. The palette is dense nonetheless, from twenty colours up. The section currently holds 56 designs.
Sizes, difficulty and palette
Canvas formats here run from 40x40 to 80x120 cm — 12 sizes in total. The most common one is 40x50 cm: 8 designs.
Difficulty runs from level 2 to level 3, and level 3 covers 70% of the designs. Palettes range from 20 to 24 colours.
What comes in the box
Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
