Pierre-Auguste Renoir

About this section

Pierre-Auguste Renoir: the Moulin de la Galette, portraits, bathers, scenes painted outdoors.

The palette range here is extremely tight — 22 to 24 colours: Renoir worked in warm light tones, and those always run to many. The section currently holds 44 designs.

Sizes, difficulty and palette

What comes in the box

Every kit in this section ships the same way: a cotton canvas already stretched over a wooden frame, numbered acrylic paints, two brushes, a control sheet and instructions. Nothing else is needed to start, and once the paint has dried the canvas hangs on the wall without a frame.
